I give up

All right, all right. I've decided to embrace being sick. Among other things this includes putting off a paper for lit class due tomorrow and breaking out the chicken noodle soup. If only I had some 7-up it would be a real party.

If anyone needs me, I'll be on the couch at apartment B22, watching reruns of Veronica Mars, season one, disc three specifically.

Attention: NEW POST

Ha ha ha. Brittany Keener keeps telling me I need to post something new. So here's to Brittany, who's sitting across from me at the B22 kitchen table on her spring break right now. She has no idea I'm typing this, or that it's about her. I'm sneaky like that.

Hope you're having fun in Virginia, Brittany. Hope it snows for you and you can ditch more classes than just the first one that gets delayed!

Oh Happy Day

It's January 23rd, kids, and you all know what that means.... That's right, the new episodes of Veronica Mars start right now. Peace out, peeps. I won't be answering calls for the next hour.

Scrapbookers Anonymous

Scrapbook fever has broken out over at B22. Sonia, Jenna, and I are joined by neighbor Sara and camp friend Liz in our artistic endeavors and weekly trips to the Scrapbook Attic. Hours are spent with paper, die cuts, and stickers spread out over the living room floor, as chick flicks play continuously in the background. Bits of scrap paper are embedded into the carpet. Boys, upon hearing the "come on in" greeting, look on in shock (and perhaps a little fear) as they stand gawking at the doorway.

It's glorious.

Christmas day, San Diego, 2006

Yes, folks, it is indeed 78 degrees outside, but it feels more like 80. As Britt and I headed out for our delectable Christmas lunch, in flip flops and tank tops, I was seriously wishing I'd worn shorts today.

I love San Diego.

Life Update

Yeah, so I'm pretty sure the guys upstairs are rearranging their furniture. Or doing switcheroo. Interesting, that I can HEAR EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE when normally I never hear anything from up there.

Maybe they're walking around on stilts. And they keep falling off and hitting the floor with a BANG!

That's what it sounds like.

Anyway, in recent news I finished out the semester, not sure how it ended yet. I think I missed an assignment in Psychology, and that may come back to haunt me. :(

But the most exciting thing is that with all this free time I've caught up to the current Veronica Mars episode. I LOVE THIS SHOW! If you haven't watched it, start at the beginning... it's better that way.

Why School Sometimes Rocks...

Because sometimes during finals week, you find yourself in one of Mrs. Szuch's finals. And sometimes during Mrs. Szuch's final you find yourself macking down on pizza and M&M's while you fill out 100 multiple choice questions. Totally takes the sting out of taking a final.
