Christmas day, San Diego, 2006

Yes, folks, it is indeed 78 degrees outside, but it feels more like 80. As Britt and I headed out for our delectable Christmas lunch, in flip flops and tank tops, I was seriously wishing I'd worn shorts today.

I love San Diego.

Life Update

Yeah, so I'm pretty sure the guys upstairs are rearranging their furniture. Or doing switcheroo. Interesting, that I can HEAR EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE when normally I never hear anything from up there.

Maybe they're walking around on stilts. And they keep falling off and hitting the floor with a BANG!

That's what it sounds like.

Anyway, in recent news I finished out the semester, not sure how it ended yet. I think I missed an assignment in Psychology, and that may come back to haunt me. :(

But the most exciting thing is that with all this free time I've caught up to the current Veronica Mars episode. I LOVE THIS SHOW! If you haven't watched it, start at the beginning... it's better that way.

Why School Sometimes Rocks...

Because sometimes during finals week, you find yourself in one of Mrs. Szuch's finals. And sometimes during Mrs. Szuch's final you find yourself macking down on pizza and M&M's while you fill out 100 multiple choice questions. Totally takes the sting out of taking a final.

It's here....

Well, winter has finally hit in good ol' San Diego. I was beginning to wonder if winter was just going to skip right over us this week. But leave it to So Cal weather to be sunny and in the 90s last week and sunny and freezing this week.

Only good thing about cold weather: you can wear scarves, mittens, and cute jackets.

That's it. That's the only good thing.

204 more days until summer!

I'm so sure...

The first time I don't burn the cookies, and Mandy isn't here to see it. How is she supposed to believe me that I don't always burn the cookies, when she isn't here during the rare chances that they come out right.

Oh, yes, I could take a picture.

See, Mandy? They don't always come out burnt.

But thanks for always eating them even when they do. :)

Hot Carrots

Every once in awhile when my boss has a business lunch, he'll go to Tio Leo's, and it has become recent tradition to bring back hot carrots for me and Heather to munch on as we work. They are soooooo hot, but sooooo good. It's like an addiction. We just keep grabbing for more carrots as we down coke or some other carbonated beverage to take away the sting.

Today he brought us each back a whole quart of them. A whole quart, each. My mouth is on fire and I haven't even gotten through the first layer yet. I think I was developing a cold, but I'm pretty sure the four carrots I've eaten so far have successfully knocked it out of me.

I think we'll be snacking on hot carrots for a long time over here.
