Linear-ized pictures

Well, it's kind of hard to see where the picture leaves off and the background starts, and I had to crop some of it, but it still looks cool. At least, I think so.

Adelaide's San Diego Update

1) It is spring break for SDCC. It slightly sucks because no one else has break for another MONTH! I think they purposely don't want us to have fun sometimes.
2) I got a $50 bonus check yesterday. There was much happiness.
3) Jesse, Lily, Justin Gibson, and I went to dance lessons on Sunday night. We re-learned some salsa moves.
4) I went snowboarding in Utah a few weeks ago. It was stinkin' amazing.
5) Heather and I bought a new filing cabinet for our office and spent a glorious Thursday afternoon re-organizing.
6) I got four hours of sleep Saturday night because a certain roommate who has her own room decided she wanted to sleep in my bed instead.
7) I went to the Scrapbook Attic (best store EVER) and found that pretty much everything is 50% off for the month of March. March has become scrapbooking month for me, and I had quite a fun time on Saturday updating with aforementioned Utah trip pictures.
8) Our internet still sucks.
9) My car got broken into and the only thing missing is my Sara Evans CD : I am not a happy camper
10) I ditched small group on Wednesday night to do research for my lit crit class; apparently I was missed.

End transmission. More to come.

Weddings and Stuff

Yesterday, two of my best friends got married. I got to be in their wedding, along with a bunch of other good friends. And it was amazing. I watched the video after they had their kiss and they just looked so stinkin' much in love. Jessica just had this "I can't believe this is happening" look and Michael was just grinning from ear to ear. And then he reached out for Gwen's hand (Jessica's daughter) and the three of them walked down the aisle together. It was the most precious video. During the ceremony, Michael knealt and asked Gwen if he could be her daddy and how he promised to protect her and provide for her forever. I think he had the whole room in tears.
The reception was great fun, too, even though there weren't enough seats at the table for the whole wedding party and I ended up sharing a chair with one of the other bridesmaids the whole time. We danced a lot, and they cut the cake, and threw the bouquet and garter, and in the middle of it all the guys and I were running outside to "decorate" the car. And then they pulled away and it was all over. We were left standing there on the sidewalk, exhausted beyond all reason, but aware that something really special had just happened.
I can't wait till my day. I have a feeling it will be an amazing day. :)

Happy 2-2 Much Day!!!

It is 12:04 am on Thursday, February 2.
Sadly, I was reminded just one minute too late that yesterday's date was in fact 2-1. 2-1! It's amazing! 2-1...all you campers know what that means!

Thank you, Sarah, for realizing this wonderful fact, Sonia for telling me to read Sarah's blog (albeit a little too late to take full advantage of 2-1 Day), and for Dan Blair consoling us with the fact that today is now 2-2 Much Day!

Sarah, you must come back soon so we can make our "reality" show. With Dan Blair living next door, it is the perfect setting for it. Now all we need is to get a certain Brian Reames down from Cal Poly and our little quartet will be complete....
